Chef Prepared Dining

One of the most enjoyable experiences at The Highlands is the pleasure of dining in our Maine Lodge Dining Room, or perhaps attending one of our receptions on campus, always tastefully catered. Executive Chef Jason Whitten, a native Mainer, has had a variety of experiences before coming to The Highlands, which only adds to the wide variety of our menu. He not only knows what pleases a customer when it comes to food, he and his staff do all they can to make the entire experience a pleasant one. Another benefit residents and their guests love is that the size of portions served is more in keeping with a senior's appetite.  With rare exceptions, entrees are not repeated for six weeks, and a lighter fare is always available.
